Ms Cao Lan, born in Kunming, is a retired artist (painter) who used to work in the Administration of the Stone Forest Scenic Area. Thanks to her work of research of the Yi ethnic culture for decades, she elegantly integrates the ethnic and classic styles in her artworks.
