Yangzong Lake Holiday Zone is located in Yiliang's Yangzong Lake between Kunming and the Stone Forest, about 30 kilometers away from the downtown of Kunming. The lake is 1,770 meters above the sea level and covers an area of some 30 square kilometers. "Yangzong" is derived from “Qiangzong Tribe” who lived here in Dali Kingdom Period (937-1253) of the Song Dynasty (960-1279).

 

As the 3rd largest freshwater lake in Yunnan, Yangzong Lake is known for its limpid water and hot springs whose temperature is as high as 70 degrees Celsius. The famous Spring City Golf Club and Brilliant Spa Resort are all situated in this area, visitors can also experience more than 40 programmes for aquatic entertainment including parachuting water jet ski, and speedboat etc . In the vicinity of Kunming, Yangzong Lake is an ideal place for leisure and entertainment.
